PART TIME REMOTE ATTORNEY - Trusts and Estates job at Gpac Milford, CT, US

Job Description

GPAC is working with a prestigious law firm specializing in trusts and estates. We are committed to providing top-notch legal services to our clients. To support our team of dedicated attorneys, we are seeking a highly organized and skilled PART TIME REMOTE Associate to assist our staff.

Responsibilities and Duties:

* Administer trusts; prepare estate administration documents
* Distribution, allocation and funding of sub-trusts
* Preparation and review of accounts, estate tax returns, and gift tax returns
* Oversee court matters from the filing of a petition to recieving filed order from the court.
* Attend Court proceedings, remotely or in-person as needed.

Requirements:

* 2+ years' experience in trusts and estates.
* Be able to support estate planning, trust, and probate practices.
* Excellent organization, computer skills and math skills
* Ability to analyze facts and discovery to apply to statutes and case law on point
* Member of the Connecticut Bar is required.
