Now Hiring: Payroll Administrator – Ontario, CA

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our corporate team in Ontario, CA . This position plays a vital role in supporting payroll operations and ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing. Position Overview:

The Payroll Administrator is responsible for supporting the Payroll Manager with day-to-day payroll tasks, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely processing of payroll for multiple sites.

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and review weekly payroll for accuracy and completeness.
• Approve Payroll Action Requests (PARs) submitted by staffing agencies.
• Generate weekly and monthly payroll cost reports for accounting.
• Review and validate federal and multi-state tax filings.
• Assist with payroll issue resolution and support distribution center payroll teams.
• Serve as a backup for the Admin Payroll Administrator as needed.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Comfortable handling a high volume of phone and email inquiries.
• Understanding of payroll processing systems; knowledge of Paychex is a plus.
• Associate degree in Business or related field preferred.
