Job Description

Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Payroll Clerk/Administrative Support professional to join our team on a temporary-to-hire basis. This dual-role position will support payroll processing functions while also supporting the payroll representatives. The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, and enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. Payroll Duties: + Accurately enter and process employee timecards and payroll data + Assist with weekly, biweekly, or semi-monthly payroll runs + Review payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies + Maintain and update employee records in the payroll system + Support the Payroll Reps or HR team with reports and administrative tasks Requirements + 1-2 years of payroll, accounting, or customer service experience preferred + Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paychex, QuickBooks) a plus + Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry + Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
