Job Description

Our gym is growing quickly, and we need a personal trainer to help our customers achieve their fitness goals. You'll be assessing our customers' fitness levels, creating personalized training routines, and ensuring they're utilizing equipment properly. This role requires outstanding customer service skills as well as a love for exercise and helping others improve their health and wellness. • Hold yourself and your clients to the highest standards of conduct and safety
• Revise fitness plans based on clients’ progress toward set goals
• Reduce the risk of injury by teaching clients good techniques for all activities, particularly those involving more advanced equipment
• Customize training routines to assist clients in achieving their fitness goals while staying within their current physical capabilities
• Ensure all workout programs are appropriate for each client by doing individualized fitness evaluations
• Conduct initial fitness and quarterly goal assessments for clients
• Create individualized and customized training programs for clients that are suitable to each client's individual goals and abilities
• Lead small group and personal training sessions
• Produce referrals and online reviews
• Maintain an 80% or higher member renewal rate

Qualifications:

• Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED)
• Must have a strong focus on putting the guest first with exceptional customer service experience
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• This role requires fitness instructor or personal trainer certification
• Certification is not required but expected within 6 months of hire. Will provide on-the-job training
