Job Description

Our client needs a Physician Assistant to help with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations, as well as to assess patient needs, order and interpret diagnostic results, and formulate and prescribe treatment plans.

• Initial Schedule 1 - 2 days per week (WED/THURS/FRI).
• Clinic Hours 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (1 hr. lunch). Hours may vary.
• Compensation is $700 - $900 per day.
• Must be able to attend a 2-day training class.

Qualifications:

• Sports medicine/Orthopedic focused exams.
• Joint injections in an out-patient setting.
• Ability to read and interpret X-rays and MRIs.
• Manage patient flow (Day/clinic hours).
• Ensure delivery of timeliness, cleanliness, and professionalism to each patient.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Excellent bedside manner is required.
• Must be a team player.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Required licensing and experience:

• 5 years of experience with injections and orthopedic examinations.
• Must be licensed in the State of New York.
