**Job Title: Pipe Fitter / Cutter NEEDED ASAP!!!** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Pipe Fitter Helper to assist in the cutting, fitting, and fabrication of pipes using various tools and techniques. Your role will be crucial in ensuring precise measurements and cuts for the welders to fit the pipes together efficiently. **Responsibilities** + Assist in pipe cutting and fitting operations using hand and power tools. + Operate plasma cutters and other fabrication equipment. + Measure, cut, and thread pipes to specified dimensions, particularly focusing on 28" outer diameter hollow circular pipes. + Collaborate with welders to ensure accurate cuts for seamless pipe fitting. + Read and interpret blueprints and pipefitter bluebooks to guide pipe fitting tasks. + Apply problem-solving skills to troubleshoot fabrication and fitting challenges. **Essential Skills** + Experience in pipe cutting and fitting. + Proficiency in using plasma cutters and other fabrication tools. + Ability to measure and cut pipes accurately. + Strong problem-solving skills. + Competence in reading and interpreting blueprints. + Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in general production and grinding. + Familiarity with power tools and fabrication techniques. + Capability to complete mathematical calculations related to pipe fitting. **Why Work Here?** This position offers long-term stability with project-based work, allowing for business growth as projects continue to be lined up. The environment includes noise from power tools and a team of about six other workers. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Corona, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
