Job Description:

JRT is seeking an experienced pipe fitter / welder in the Vancouver Washington area. We are looking at candidates with experience! We're looking for someone that has accurate and precise attention to detail in their work. If you're looking to work with a great group of people, please apply!

• Weld pipe including carbon and stainless steel
• Fit and thread carbon pipe
• Either certified or qualified to be certified to weld pipe in the 6G position
• SMAW and TIG experience desired
• Able to fit up piping in preparation to be welded
• Read blueprints, plans, and shop drawings
• Clean and clear debris and hazardous material from pipes as needed
• Includes installation of piping supports such as hanger/strut/all-thread etc.
• Experience with hydronic systems 

The Work:

• Work located primarily the in  Salem and Portland with opportunity to travel to our Tri Cities branch for out of town work if desired.
• The projects are new construction 
• We perform a wide range of work including apartments, hotels, to schools, and large industrial warehouses and industrial facilities
• Experience with TIG is highly desired as this comprising the majority of our work at this time
