Job Description:
As a Portfolio Manager in Venture Capital at Augmentjobs you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a portfolio of venture capital investments. You will work closely with founders analyze new investment opportunities monitor performance and provide strategic guidance to the companies within the portfolio. This role requires a strong understanding of venture capital markets startup ecosystems and portfolio management best practices. You will play a critical role in identifying highpotential opportunities managing risk and maximizing the value of investments for both Augmentjobs and its clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage a diverse portfolio of venture capital investments.
Conduct indepth due diligence on potential investments assessing the risks and opportunities.
Work closely with portfolio companies to support their growth providing strategic advice and mentorship.
Monitor financial performance market trends and operational metrics to ensure the portfolio meets investment objectives.
Build and maintain strong relationships with founders coinvestors and other key stakeholders.
Prepare regular reports and updates on portfolio performance for internal and external stakeholders.
Lead exit strategies and work on liquidity events for portfolio companies when applicable.
Collaborate with the investment team to identify new opportunities and optimize portfolio performance.
