This is for a postdoctoral research position in Groundwater Geochemistry and Hydrology at J.J. Pickle Research Campus in North Austin.
Purpose
The post-doc position focuses on analyzing environmental indicators in groundwater at CO2 storage sites, with tasks ranging from data review and field assessments to predictive modeling and monitoring optimization.

Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Environmental Science, Geochemistry, Hydrology, or related field. Proven experience in hydro-geochemical research, including fieldwork and data analysis. Strong background in geochemical modeling. Experience with reactive transport simulations. Publication record demonstrating relevant research outcomes.
Ph.D. must have been obtained within 3 years of date of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong data science skills and demonstrated research experience in water-gas-rock interactions, organic-inorganic interactions, microbe-rock interactions with the application to CO2 storage. Familiarity with data analytics. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively disseminate research findings.
Salary Range
$65,000+ depending on qualifications
