Position Summary/Description:
We are seeking an energetic and highly motivated Postdoctoral Trainee to conduct cell and molecular biology experiments regarding the pathogenic mechanisms and genetic susceptibilities involved in fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. Specific responsibilities will include designing and carrying out in vitro and in vivo experiments designed to test the effects of alcohol on a cellular and molecular level using live cell assays, qRT- PCR , RNA -Sequencing (transcriptomics), western blots, immunofluorescence, CRISPR /Cas9 genetic manipulations, and other experimental methods as needed. Additionally, this position will require analyses of these data and writing manuscripts to report findings to the scientific community. The Postdoc Trainee will report directly to the Principal Investigator.
Education and Experience:

* The intersections between alcohol, developmental signaling and cell behavior.
* A variety of preclinical models for conditions such as cancer and inflammation.
* Developmental biology models.
