Powder Coating Painter

Pay : $18+/HR
Shifts :
- Day Shift and Night Shift available
Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire
Location : Catoosa, OK

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of previous industrial paint experience required.
Must pass a Pulmonary Function Test (PFT)and be fitted to wear a respirator.
Physically active and able to lift up to 50 lbs .

Duties

Abrade surfaces of metal or hard composition objects to remove scale, sand, paint, grease, tar, rust, and dirt, imparting a specified finish.
Shovel or pour abrasives such as sand, grit, or shot of specified grade into machine hopper.
Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors regarding painting tasks.
Select premixed paints or mix required portions of pigment, oil, thinning, and drying substances to prepare paint that matches specified colors.
Prepare products for painting and perform post-painting preparation as needed.
Use a power spray gun to apply paint.
