A prominent Private Equity firm based in Charlotte, NC, is looking to expand its team by adding an Associate in the first half of 2025. The firm specializes in high-growth SaaS companies within the emerging lower-middle market. They are highly detail-oriented and highly collaborative and seek to partner with entrepreneurs, leadership teams, and owners who are passionate about building outstanding companies and making a positive impact on their employees, customers, and communities.

Responsibilities:

• Source, manage outreach, and screen new investment prospects
• Conduct financial modeling of investment opportunities
• Perform market research and competitive analysis
• Execute investment due diligence and transactions
• Participate in internal investment committee discussions and external company meetings
• Assist in financial reporting and investor communication

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred, but not required
• 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, financial services, or consulting (technology sector experience preferred)
• Exceptional modeling, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact thoughtfully with portfolio company management teams
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet demanding deadlines
• Entrepreneurial mindset with an ambitious and proactive attitude
• Strong ethical values and commitment to teamwork
• Humility and a collaborative spirit
