What You'll Be Doing Investment ActivitiesSourcing & Diligence: Identify and evaluate acquisition targets, conduct due diligence, develop financial models, and assess operational alignment.
Deal Execution: Support all aspects of the deal process including negotiations, legal coordination, and closing activities.
Collaborate directly with portfolio company leadership to drive strategic and operational initiatives.
Ensure smooth transitions that honor founders' legacies-no layoffs, no relocations, and no unnecessary bureaucracy.
Contribute to process improvements, strategic planning, and performance tracking across the portfolio.
Travel regularly to portfolio companies to build relationships and help lead value creation on the ground.
Analytical & Strategic Mindset: Strong skills in financial modeling, due diligence, and business analysis.
Entrepreneurial Spirit: Comfortable with ambiguity and excited to build sustainable value in the real economy.
Operational Curiosity: Keen interest in how small businesses work, from the shop floor to executive strategy.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field (MBA or other advanced degrees a plus but not required).
Experience: 2 5 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, consulting, or operations. Exposure to lower-middle-market deals or industrial sectors preferred.
Skills: Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, diligence, and strategic analysis. Familiarity with operational KPIs and growth planning.
