Skip-Line is looking for an entry-level embedded software engineer with strong technical, people, and AI skills to process customer orders and make internal systems work better. Our industry is changing fast, and AI is at the center of it. You will use AI tools daily to write scalable code, and make continuous software improvements to our internal production processes. You will also communicate regularly with customers to translate their specs into real systems that operate on highways.

Starting Salary Range: $70,000 - $75,000

Who You Are:
You are an entry-level engineer with a strong foundation in embedded software development and an eagerness to work in a customer-facing role. You value the power of AI and view it as a work companion. You are experienced operating in embedded linux system environments and using C, C++, or QML. You're just as comfortable talking to customers on the phone as you are writing code for embedded systems. If you enjoy using AI, communicating with customers, and writing code to automate/improve internal production processes — this role is for you.
