Arrow&Branch Winery, located in Napa, is a new winemaking facility serving a collective of small artisan producers and tailored to winemaking at the highest level. We use state of the art equipment and traditional winemaking practices to craft wines from Napa Valley’s most prestigious vineyards.

Arrow&Branch Winery is seeking a Production Manager/Assistant Winemaker to participate in all winery work operations, cellar work planning, work order management, cellar work, and continued growth of the business.

The Production Manager/Assistant Winemaker is responsible for creating and managing work orders and inventory and short- and long-term planning for harvest and non-harvest winery activities. This position will report to the Director of Winemaking and interact with our winemaker clients to ensure their wines are cared for at the highest level. This position will be integral in establishing SOPs, hiring and training harvest interns, and outfitting some aspects of the production spaces.

This position also works closely with the Cellar Master to complete cellar work, including topping, racking, crushing, pressing, and fermentation management. Some facilities management is also required.

We are looking for someone who is committed to high-quality winemaking, who is knowledgeable in all cellar practices, who works well under pressure, who is a team leader, and who can be personable with a broad swath of different people.

Qualifications:

•  Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of full-time wine production experience
•  Familiar with cellar workflow management. Custom Crush winery experience is a plus.
•  Highly skilled in hands-on cellar operations and familiar with a wide variety of high-quality winemaking practices.
•  Skilled in sensory evaluation, especially in identifying wine flaws.
•  Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
•  Experience with Innovint is a plus.
•  Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
•  Strong verbal and written communication skills and a positive attitude.
•  Fluent in English. Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
•  Able to drive a forklift.
•  Able to lift 40#s, climb ladders, work in hot/cold and wet environments, and work long hours.
•  Must have current legal work status in the United States.
