Production Planner Direct Hire Opportunity

Montgomery County PA

$28.00 $34.00 Hourly

Responsibilities:

• Extract and analyze data from our ERP and other systems to create current and forecasted needs; review historical data to set part parameters; establish production standards for work center scheduling.
• Create update and maintain schedules for multiple departments
• Create jobs and priorities based on the current and projected needs of the company
• Analyze inventory levels across multiple phases of manufacturing to understand priority needs and job sizes
• Communicate scheduling conflicts with management throughout the production process
• Direct and assist the Production Control Coordinators and Material Handlers with production priorities.
• Utilize Epicor to track the status of current jobs and update the production team with any discrepancies during the production process.
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2yrs manufacturing planning experience in an MRP supported environment.
• Some college and CPIM or other relevant certification preferred.
• A background in logistics inventory control or purchasing is beneficial.
• Selfstarter and comfortable working in a team or independently in a fastpaced manufacturing environment where priorities sometimes fluctuate.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including strong Excel experience)
• Strong interpersonal skills written and verbal communication skills and organizational skillsAbility to quickly learn new computer software
