Job Description

We are seeking a Plant Manager to lead the efficient safe and environmentally responsible operation and growth of our manufacturing facility in Sealy Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing programs that drive productivity quality and operational efficiency.  The Production Supervisor will cultivate a culture of trust accountability and continuous improvement helping the plant achieve its Vision.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leadership and Team Development : Coach mentor motivate and develop your team to achieve excellence in all aspects of plant operations.
• Collaboration : Work with the Materials and Quality teams to meet delivery and quality requirements consistently.
• Standardization and Training : Assist in the identification and development of standardized procedures and training materials to improve efficiency and safety.
• Shift Coordination : Conduct shift meetings to facilitate smooth shifttoshift communication and ensure operational continuity.
• Manufacturing Operations : Effectively manage floor activities including:
  • Accurate reporting of production s and labor.
  • Timely startup and shutdown of shifts.
  • Training development and motivation of your team.

Qualifications :

• Education : Bachelors degree in Business Management Manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Experience : 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with leadership responsibilities preferably in extrusion manufacturing and unionized settings.
• Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint. SAP experience is a plus.
• Attributes : Dependable highly organized and detailoriented problem solver.
• Interpersonal Skills : Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of management and staff.
