Role Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in tent and mezzanine installations. If you have a background in special events, rental management, or sports event management, this role might be perfect for you. Experience with Höcker HTS, RÖDER, Losberger, or Velderman products is a plus.
As a Project Manager, you will oversee the successful completion of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You'll coordinate all aspects of the project from planning through execution and work closely with clients and team members to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Initiating/Planning Phase:
Interpret project drawings and evaluate needs, including reviewing inventory and equipment requirements.
Review client contracts and communicate milestones to the project team.
Check availability of specialty items to prevent overbooking.
Plan and manage project budgets, tying costs to activities and materials.
Acquire necessary permits and coordinate site visits with clients and vendors.
Schedule rental equipment and manage inventory reservations.
Execution/Monitoring Phase:
Oversee build and strike dates, ensuring fieldwork aligns with project timelines and quality standards.
Visit job sites regularly to inspect progress and provide technical advice.
Manage inventory, update budgets, and report significant changes to senior management.
Produce weekly reports for large projects.
Closing Phase:
Capture design changes and reconcile invoices.
Coordinate material allocation and post-event reviews to identify improvement opportunities.
Generate as-built drawings for recurring projects and ensure all rental equipment is returned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct supervision required.
Lead cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, and Operations.
Oversee field labor crews and ensure safety on job sites.
Education & Experience:
3 to 5 years of project management experience.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience in construction or equipment rental is a plus.
PMP certification preferred but not required.
Knowledge of large clear span tents and temporary structures essential.
Experience with Höcker HTS, RÖDER, Losberger, or Velderman products preferred.
Work Environment:
Office-based with travel to outdoor worksites as needed.
Safety clothing and equipment may be required.
Requirements:
Pass background check and drug screening.
5+ years of experience in planning, inventory management, logistics, and project management.
Valid driver's license and ability to operate company vehicles.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer relations skills.
Fluency in English required; Spanish is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and general data management.
