Job Position:  Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Essential Functions:

• Provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and psychopharmacologic management for patient with mental health disorders
• Develop a treatment plan, measure progress against the plan, and make adjustments as needed
• Provide crisis interventions for patient or family as needed
• Collaborate care with psychotherapist on cases requiring behavioral treatment
• Coordinate care with family, community organizations or other agencies as needed
• Document evaluations, psychopharmacologic, and individual/family therapy interventions timely at EMR system
• Participate in network activities such as team meetings, provider meetings, grand rounds, and training sessions

Qualifications:

• Must be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Psychiatric Mental Health (PMH) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
• 2+ years of experience preferred but all welcome.
• Current and unrestricted New York State license.
• DEA required.
• Bilingual English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) required.
