Position Summary:
The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for administering radiation treatments to patients as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. This role requires compassion, precision, and the ability to operate complex equipment in a patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer prescribed doses of radiation to specific body parts using radiation therapy equipment.
• Accurately position patients for treatment and ensure safety throughout procedures.
• Maintain detailed treatment records and ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver the highest standard of care.
• Monitor patient reactions and provide support as needed throughout the course of treatment.

Qualifications:

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy or a related field.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiation Therapy.
• Current Florida state license or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum of 2 year of clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
