**Job Title: Part-Time Real Estate Accountant & Bookkeeper**

**Overview:**
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Real Estate Accountant & Bookkeeper to join our team and support the financial operations of our growing real estate companies. This role offers the flexibility of partial remote work and involves managing both business and some personal financial accounts. You will play a crucial role in organizing and maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with IRS and state payroll tax requirements.

**Compensation:**
$19,500 - $24,500 yearly

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Create detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to accurately track all income statements and expenses.
- Review accounts payable and receivable daily to ensure invoices and expense reports are accurate.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing payments by printing, distributing, and obtaining check signatures when necessary.
- Reconcile all business accounts to ensure our records align and no transactions are overlooked.
- Utilize computer software to enter financial data and maintain organized records.

**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or GED is required; a college degree is helpful but not mandatory.
- Proficiency in property management software, such as Yardi, is preferred.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is essential.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
