Job ID#: 21641 Real Estate Development Analyst – in office
Direct Hire; up to 85K
Downtown Houston

Duties:
  • Support Development and Investments team in day-to-day activities encompassing financial, diligence, and coordination responsibilities
  • Conduct financial analysis of potential developments and investments, including operating projections, sensitivity and returns analyses, and capital cash flows
  • Research and analyze market trends, demographics, and competitive landscape to inform development and investment decisions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, design, construction, and finance to ensure projects meet financial and strategic objectives
  • Develop and maintain financial models, including pro forma statements and project budgets
  • Coordinate due diligence of ongoing transactions for new projects and existing portfolio
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and liabilities associated with development projects
  • Prepare project proposals, presentations, and reports for internal teams and external investors
  • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting real estate development
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in real estate development, finance, or related – hospitality a PLUS
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and presentation; happy balance of being eager and patient
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; analytical and sales forward
  • Ability to build relationships with stakeholders
