Job Title: Evening/Weekend Receptionist 

Location: Coastal Oaks Recovery, Port Royal, South Carolina 
Employment Type: Part-Time / Full-Time (Specify) 
Work Schedule: Evening Shifts (e.g., 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, flexible as needed)

Coastal Oaks Recovery is a 72-bed substance-use treatment center nestled in Port Royal, South Carolina, providing medically monitored detoxification and residential treatment for adults. Our holistic and evidence-based approach fosters a supportive, patient-first culture, ensuring a safe and structured recovery environment. 

Position Overview 

As the Evening Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, ensuring smooth facility operations during evening hours. This role requires strong communication, organization, and customer service skills to maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere. 

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk & Customer Service 

• Greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff professionally. 
• Answer and direct incoming calls, provide information, and take messages. 
• Monitor facility access to maintain security and confidentiality. 

Administrative & Clerical Support 

• Maintain organized records, including client check-ins and visitor logs. 
• Assist with scheduling and basic data entry. 
• Keep the reception area clean and orderly. 

Communication & Team Support 

• Relay messages and important updates to the appropriate team members. 
• Assist with distributing forms and documents as needed. 
• Notify leadership of any client concerns or incidents promptly. 

Confidentiality & Compliance 

• Handle sensitive information with professionalism, following HIPAA regulations. 
• Ensure adherence to Coastal Oaks Recovery’s policies and procedures. 

Qualifications & Requirements 

Education & Experience 

• High school diploma or equivalent required. 
• Previous experience in reception, administration, or customer service, preferably in healthcare or recovery settings. 

Skills & Abilities 

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office equipment. 
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. 
• Compassionate and professional demeanor with a commitment to patient confidentiality. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in behavioral health, addiction recovery, or medical offices. 
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems. 
• Bilingual (Spanish or another language) is a plus.
