Job Description

Job Summary:

The Moser Energy Systems Regional Sales Manager is responsible for sales and maintaining relationships with customers who's corporate or field offices are in the area they are assigned to. Regional Sales Managers utilize effective sales techniques and dedication to drive sustainable financial growth for Moser by forging strong relationships with our customers in the West Texas Region.  The applicant must live in or near Midland or Odessa, Texas but may work from home

  Compensation/Benefits Overview:

  • Base salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 DOE, plus commission

Education/ Experience:

  • BS/BA in business administration, sales, or relevant field required.
  • 3 years of working experience as a business developer, account sales, or a relevant role preferred.
  • Oilfield services or heavy industrial sales experience is preferred.

Reporting to:

Regional Sales Director, South, unless otherwise designated.

  Typical Responsibilities:

  • Drives revenue generation from accounts in assigned area.
  • Develop and execute a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintains contracts and pricing for assigned accounts archiving account history along with sales forecasting.
  • Use of CRM (MS Dynamics) to log sales activities.
  • Develops and maintains all client relations at assigned accounts.
  • Works with Regional Sales Representatives to ensure complete account coverage.
  • Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Arranges business meetings with existing or prospective clients.
  • Promotes Moser’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Consults with Operations to understand all areas of customer service.
  • Communicates all billing, customer service industry, safety issues, repair needs, etc.
  • Keeps accurate and detailed records of sales, revenue, invoices, and travel expenses.
  • Provides trustworthy feedback and after-sales support to the client.
  • Builds and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
  • Actively participate in all required training and safety meetings.
  • Immediately report all incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
  • Abide by all policies and procedures established by Moser Energy Systems.
  • Assist with any task required by the direct supervisor.

  Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, clients, and management.
  • MS Office business suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Requires a strong sense of time management, planning skills and a hunter mentality.
  • Requires regular out-of-town travel for work.
  • Must be able to work alone or lead a team as necessary.
  • Must treat everyone equally with respect and dignity.
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to work legally in the US.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screening.
  • Clean motor vehicle record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and/ or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to interact with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
  • To best service our customers, all employees must be able to communicate face-to-face and on the phone with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks such as typing.
  • Must have and maintain a current valid driver’s license.
