Job Description In the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the St. Cloud Hospital, you will work with patients of all ages before and after surgeries. RNs may work in the pre-op area ensuring a patient is prepped for surgery and safe to go to the operating room. After surgery, the RN will work with surgeons and anesthesiologists as the patient wakes up to ensure they are stable before being discharged or brought back to their hospital room. In this fast-paced environment you will need to think on your feet along with being flexible and adaptable.
Schedule - Full time | 72-80 hours every two weeks | St. Cloud Hospital
- Day/evening shift rotation | 8 and 12-hr shifts| Various shift times throughout the day
- Approximately every 9th weekend | 1-2 holidays per year | Occasional night call to cover vacations
Pay and Benefits - Pay rate minimum: $36.83 (ADN); $37.75 (BSN); $38.69 (MSN), pay determined by experience

Qualifications - Graduate from a nursing program and current RN licensure in MN required
- BSN required within three years of hire
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required within 12 months of hire
- Previous experience in ICU, CCU, or PACU settings preferred
- Critical care experience in Hemodynamic monitoring and Basic EKG interpretation preferred
To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
To be eligible for the relocation assistance, you must accept a full time or part time benefited position and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. You must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it with 120 days of employment.
