Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Pay:

• $1,908 - $2,000 weekly gross working 36 hours
• Overtime available
• Local and travel pay packages both available
• Weekly Direct Deposit every Friday
• W2 position with benefits Available; Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K

Schedule and Timeline:

• Now hiring for a July 14th start date
• 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend
• Quick feedback and expedited credentialing process with in-house experts
• 36-hour work week with potential to pick up OT
• 12-hour Day shift

Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Job Details:

• Provide healthcare services to inmates.
• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations
• Conduct paper charting - this facility is fully paper charting
• Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients in critical situations.
• Educate inmates about health issues, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall well-being.
• Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the correctional facility.
• Treat inmates for chronic health issues, trauma, infection, and substance abuse.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
• Collaborate with correctional staff to address security concerns while delivering patient care.

Corrections RN / Registered Nurse Qualifications:

• SC or Multistate RN License in good standing
• Clean background check upon hire
• Active BLS certification
• Strong experience in correctional setting
• State psychiatric experience can be qualified as well
