REMOTE Help Desk / Technical Support
River City Science Academy is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a REMOTE Help Desk / Technical Support specialist. As a key member of our IT team, you will provide exceptional technical support to our staff, students, and faculty, resolving technical issues in a timely and professional manner. This is a full-time, remote opportunity ideal for entry-level candidates looking to launch their career in technical support.
Responsibilities
Provide top-notch technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system to resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner, escalating complex issues to senior team members when necessary.
Document all technical issues and resolutions in the ticketing system, maintaining accurate records and knowledge base articles.
Collaborate with other IT team members to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring seamless technical support services.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and technical support best practices.
Qualifications
~ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field preferred.
~0-2 years of experience in technical support, help desk, or related field; entry-level candidates with relevant education and training are encouraged to apply.
~ Strong technical skills, including knowledge of computer hardware, software, and network fundamentals.
~ Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
~ Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple technical issues simultaneously.
