Ideal candidate: Open to any experience level. (2+ years experience)
LIMS (laboratory information management system) and a basic understanding of clinical trials understanding, and a strong understanding of MS Excel.
This role will assist the biospecimen operations team on the day-to-day monitoring and management of the laboratory information management system (LIMS). This will include, but not limited to, monitoring incoming data and files from external vendors and resolving data and formatting issues related to incoming manifests, files, and complex data feeds from external vendors. This position will also assist with analyzing issues and providing solutions for critical application issues in receiving samples, sample ordering, result management and data interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge and functional expertise in R&D, particularly specimen and data management
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and experience navigating a matrixed organization
• Working knowledge of document management applications and study planning tools (eg. Planisware, SmartSheet, Tableau, Veeva platform, etc)
• Ability to develop collaborative internal and external relationships
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills

Basic Qualifications:

• Master degree OR Bachelor degree and 2 years of experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of experience OR High school diploma / GED and 8 years of experience.

Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:
Knowledge and functional expertise in R&D, particularly specimen and data management
Experience with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS)
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and critical thinking skills

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Assist in monitoring data flows to and from the LIMS system
• CLM files
• Result files and web feed
• Azenta interface
• IRT feed
• Dev ODS
• Work with BSM reps to resolve issues and discrepancies in data received.
• Assist in set up and close out of data feeds (CLM files)
• Assist as needed to perform manual data resolution in system
• Become well-versed in the logic intricacies of BSM LIMS and contribute to creative problem solving
• Successful placement will be measured by the freeing up some of the workload on the current FTE assigned to do this task and observing the completeness and tidiness of the BSM LIMS system which will reduce the amount of observed discrepancies and deviations which have increased over the past several months.

Pay Rate between $26 - $30/Hr on W2 based on experience.
