Hudsons Restaurant and Catering - Nightmare before Blitzen's / Blitzen's is hiring Servers!

Hudsons Restaurant and Catering is a family-owned and operated restaurant, known for its chef-driven food and exceptional service. With over 16 years of experience in Northeast Ohio, our owners, JJ and Kevin Altomare, graduated from The Culinary Institute of America and have been delighting guests with delicious dishes and special menus. We currently offer lunch and dinner 6 days a week, as well as brunch on Saturdays. As well as our Nightmare Before Blitzen's Halloween popup bar and Blitzen's Christmas popup bar.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
• Attend to customers upon entrance
• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food and beverages
• Take and serve orders, and answer questions or make recommendations
• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and accept payment
• Promote dedication from customers

Qualifications:

• 1 year of serving experience preferred
• Must have weekend availability
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be minimum of 18 years old to serve Alcohol in the State of Ohio

Skills and Qualities:

• Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
• Customer-oriented approach and patience
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Hands-on experience in cashier duties
• Excellent people skills
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Attention to cleanliness and safety
• High school diploma; food safety training will be considered a plus
