Our client, an Am Law 100 firm, is seeking an attorney with 3 to 5 years of experience in international trade to join its Regulations, Investigations, Securities, and Compliance practice. This is a high-impact opportunity for a motivated lawyer to work on sophisticated matters related to export controls, economic sanctions, and customs law within a globally respected platform. The role offers a clear path for long-term growth and advancement.
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with:
U.S. export controls (EAR)
Economic sanctions (OFAC)
Customs and tariff matters
Broader international trade regulations
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on compliance strategies, licensing, and regulatory filings
Conduct internal investigations, risk assessments, and audits
Develop and implement corporate compliance programs and policies
Respond to enforcement actions and engage with regulatory agencies
Deliver client training and support for cross-border business operations
Qualifications:
3 to 5 years of relevant legal experience (more experienced candidates are welcome to apply)
U.S. JD from a top-tier law school
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior large law firm experience preferred
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with FCPA and other investigations-related matters
Exposure to national security issues, including CFIUS
