Job Overview Twehous Excavating Company Inc is looking to hire skilled and motivated Rock Drill Operators to support drilling and blasting operations across active construction and quarry sites. This is a physically demanding and safety-critical position that offers year-round, full-time work and significant opportunities for advancement into blasting roles. We welcome experienced operators and will train candidates with the right aptitude and work ethic.

Learn more at Key Responsibilities - Operate hydraulic rock drills safely and efficiently on construction and quarry sites.
- Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance on drill rigs and associated equipment.
- Report major mechanical issues to company maintenance staff.
- Log drill activities, complete workplace exam paperwork, and ensure proper documentation.
- Read and apply grade and drilling patterns from design plans.
- Assist with blasting preparation and cleanup.
- Follow all safety rules, regulations, and PPE requirements.
- Support other tasks as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications - High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of equipment operating experience preferred; training available for qualified candidates.
- Ability to understand and interpret site plans and layouts.
- General mechanical aptitude and familiarity with construction tools.
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
- Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Class A CDL preferred but not required.

Schedule - Full-Time: Monday - Friday
- Overtime and weekend work may be required
Location - Based in Kansas City, MO with travel to project sites across Missouri and the Midwest
