Job Overview
As a sales associate, your day will primarily be made up of providing customers with friendly & informative advice on our curated selection of food & lifestyle products. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of the store, ensuring it is kept stocked & tidy throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities & Expectations
• Provide friendly and informative customer service while working towards sales goals
• Build strong customer rapport through providing personalized product guidance, resolving issues, & following up on purchases
• Answer e-mails, phone calls & receive mail
• Perform visual merchandising while ensuring shelves are stocked & store is clean
• Keep Ubereats & inventory accurate & up to date
• Check inventory daily to ensure that expiring items are noted & expired ones are pulled from shelves
• Receive product deliveries & manage inventory accordingly by clearly labelling packages & practicing FIFO
• Prepare and send out daily deliveries, nation-wide shipments & Uber Eats orders
• Maintain staff areas, organize, & stock supplies
• Complete closing reports, delivery lists and misc. admin duties
• Notify management of all customer or operations related issues
• Have an excellent knowledge & understanding of the products we carry & their health benefits
What We’re Looking For:
• Experience / knowledge in nutrition & the health +
wellness space
• Customer-service oriented, a smiley personality that prioritizes customers in a busy environment
• Sales oriented, with a strong ability to promote products & events at the shop
• Genuine enthusiasm for the products & company
• Detail-oriented, team player with a can-do attitude
• Ability to work well independently & take initiative
• Good time management and the ability to adapt & prioritize multiple tasks & unexpected situations
• Can lift a minimum of 35lb
• Available on weekends, and during store hours ranging potentially from 8am-9pm depending on the season
