This position requires a hands-on approach and direct interaction with customers and is not a remote job. Our new team member will be instrumental in driving our sales efforts by directly engaging with potential and existing customers, primarily in residential settings. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential customers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Conduct in-home product demonstrations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and value of our solar energy solutions.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of our product line, industry trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Handle all aspects of sales transactions, including negotiation, closing, and documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues expediently.
  • Execute local marketing initiatives, participating in events and trade shows to increase brand visibility and sales leads.
  • Collaborate with the tech support team to ensure that installations meet the customer’s expectations and compliance standards.
  • Meticulously manage the CRM database, ensuring all sales opportunities are tracked and followed up on.
  • Regularly meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Provide periodic sales forecasts to assist with inventory and supply chain management.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay abreast of market conditions and technological advancements.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of client retention and referrals.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience in a relevant sector, ideally in renewable energy, home improvement, or equivalent industries.
  • Entry Level - Open to candidates who are eager to build or start a career in sales
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to persuade and close sales.
  • Reliable transportation, as this role involves considerable travel within the designated sales territory.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine desire to help customers find the best solutions.
  • Ability to independently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and sales targets.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and comfortable with data entry and analysis to track and improve sales outcomes.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate customers’ schedules.
  • Physical stamina and ability to handle various demands of in-home sales appointments and travel.
  • High school diploma required; a degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for renewable energy technologies and a commitment to promoting sustainable energy solutions.
