Job role- Salesforce CPQ Technical Architect

Duration- 6 month

Location- St. Louis, MO (Onsite)

The Salesforce CPQ Technical Architect will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, CPQ processes, and integration techniques.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, enterprise architecture knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• 10+ years of experience in Salesforce.com (SFDC) systems implementation and at least 2 Salesforce - CPQ end to end design and implementation experience

o Minimum 6 years of experience creating the technical architecture for complex Salesforce implementations and technology implementation of full lifecycle enterprise projects

o Minimum 4+ years of experience with Salesforce CPQ or any other CPQ. Should provide in-depth subject matter expertise in CPQ & related domain areas

• Lead end-to-end architectural design and delivery of Salesforce solutions, with a focus on seamless integration with CPQ systems.
• Provide expertise and guidance on Salesforce and CPQ integration strategies and patterns, including recommending best practices and identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Extensive background in designing architectural solutions for large complex programs on salesforce platforms
• Must have good Solution Architecture experience in Lead to Quote process, in building CPQ Integrations with other Telecom OSS/BSS products such as CRM, DocuSign, Billing and Order Management products
• Design and implement complex data models, ensuring data integrity and scalability through regular architecture reviews and optimization of Salesforce-CPQ data interactions.
• Collaborate with multiple business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Understanding of key SFDC architectural concepts and how they influence design
• Evaluation of Salesforce.com with 3rd party solutions
• Proven ability to design scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
• Salesforce.com Certifications (Sales cloud/ CPQ Specialist/ Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Application Architect preferable)
• Ability to lead, manage and review technical activities of team and be hand on when needed
• Lead technical discussions and provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices.
• Act as an escalation point for all Technical issues related to overall project.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to technical audiences, non-technical audiences, and senior management

Secondary Skills

• DevOps tools and practices for Salesforce development.
• Familiarity with other CPQ solutions and pricing strategies.
