Qualifications We're Looking For:

A Master's degree in School Counseling or a related field
An active Alaska Type C School Counselor Certification
A minimum of 2 years of experience as a school counselor in a K-12 setting
Previous experience delivering virtual counseling services is highly preferred
Excellent organizational, communication, and technology skills
Access to a reliable computer and high-speed internet (Chromebooks and tablets are not supported)

Key Responsibilities:

As a Virtual School Counselor, you will:

Provide individual and group counseling sessions to support students' academic, social, and emotional needs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote student success
Deliver interventions for crisis management, conflict resolution, and mental health concerns
Assist with college and career readiness planning
Support compliance with 504 plans, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and other accommodations
