We are looking for a Science Teacher for an International High School based in Shenzhen This is a full-time position starting in August 2025. About schoolThis bilingual school is a Chinese-Western integrated international bilingual school jointly established by two century-old schools in China and the United States. It covers three sections: international bilingual kindergarten, nine-year bilingual primary and junior middle school, international high school, and special high school. It fully implements bilingual immersion teaching in both Chinese and English. We will build a Sino-Western integrated teaching system that adapts to the dual channels of high school entrance examination and study abroad. Job ResponsibilitiesTeach the school’s science subjects to high school students utilizing US curriculum framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experienceDevelop lesson plans and instructional materials, and provide individualized and small-group instruction to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each studentEvaluate students’ academic and social growth, record appropriate records, and prepare progress reportsCommunicate with parentsCollaborate with school administrators and peer teachersParticipate in curriculum and professional development sessionsAssist and coordinate activities and events inside and outside of the school location Job RequirementsBachelor's degree or above major in education or relevantAt least 2 years of teaching experienceAdditional Requirements: 2 or more years of classroom teaching experience in the US curriculumExperience with English Language Learners preferredSalary and benefitsAnnual salary of 42,000 to 44,000 USD and commensurate with experience and qualificationsMonthly housing allowance of 4,500 RMBAirfare Reimbursement: Airfare to China and return flight covered by the schoolContract Completion BonusHealth and Life InsurancePaid VacationProfessional Development: Ongoing professional development provided, including annual teacher in-service, frequent professional development opportunities, and soft learningCareer advancement opportunities within the education groupHolidays: We observe local national holidays and some US holidays
