We are seeking a skilled and experienced Screen Printing Press Operator to join our team and help us deliver exceptional products to our clients.

Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Screen Printing Press Operator with expertise in both manual and automatic screen printing presses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality prints, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a smooth production workflow. You will also utilize your graphic art and technical skills to prepare screens, execute color separations, and work with RIP software to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate manual and automatic screen printing presses to produce custom-printed garments and other products.
• Perform color separations and utilize RIP software to prepare artwork for printing.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure accurate artwork preparation and adjustments.
• Prepare screens, including coating, burning, and reclaiming, with attention to quality and efficiency.
• Set up and align screens, adjust settings for proper registration, and ensure consistent print quality.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance and troubleshoot any printing issues.
• Maintain and clean printing equipment and tools, ensuring optimal functionality and longevity.
• Follow production schedules and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior team members, as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Screen Printing Press Operator, with both manual and automatic presses.
• Strong skills in color separations, RIP software, and graphic art preparation.
• Knowledge of screen preparation techniques, including coating, exposing, and reclaiming screens.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality control during production.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in screen printing operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDraw or other graphic design software.
• Previous leadership or training experience is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
