Nannies + more International is seeking a Professional Governess/Nanny in Houston, Texas.
Location: Houston, Texas
Children: 9-year-old and a 12-year-old
Local Candidates Only: Yes
Family: Professional Parents (Work from home three days a week)
Type of Assignment: Full-Time
Schedule: 5 days a week, Typical schedule is Monday Friday (Flexibility Required)
Three days a week: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Two days a week: 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Live in or Live out: Live-out
Start Date: End of August 2022
Length of Assignment: Long-term
Experience: 5+years of professional Governess/Private Home experience
Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in the US or US Citizen
The candidate must have at least three excellent professional references, three-character references, and a clear background.
Candidate must provide flexibility in scheduling if needed
Workstyle Personality:
Seeking someone highly motivated, hands-on, a self-starter, a team player, has the ability to multi-task, passionate about their position, has a great work ethic, extremely energetic, and consistently exhibits a friendly/happy professional personality; all of these characteristics are important to the family.
The candidate must have a fun/full of life, creativity, and personality to share with the children, but also be able to be calm and understanding in a classroom setting and has experience with Montessori school learning. Must be very 'hands-on' with developing curriculum. Ability to offer educational learning, assist with homework and school projects, and help children balance work and play. The candidate must have educational qualifications and must be an experienced teacher.
Duties: All duties are based around the children. Manage home school for the 9-year-old with a sensory processing disorder and assisting homework/after-school activities for the 12-year-old, arriving early to make the children breakfast and keeping the children"s schoolwork areas tidy and clean.
Driving: Required. Transporting the children to/from activities, between locations, and picking up/dropping off the 12-year-old to/from school.
COVID SAFE: Following the Current CDC guidelines. Has received the full vaccine/booster or is comfortable getting COVID vaccination.

Professional Experience:
At least 5 years of professional governess experience in private homes.
Language: Fluent in English
