The Royal Caribbean Group has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Senior Analyst, Finance reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Capital Projects and Business Analysis .

Position is onsite and based in Miami, FL


We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Analyst to join our team, supporting the Silversea Brand’s capital planning, financial analysis, and strategic initiatives functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of financial modeling, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence key business decisions and contribute to the long-term growth of the brand through rigorous analysis, strategic insights, and process improvements.

The Senior Analyst will work closely with operational, finance, and strategic teams to develop accurate forecasts, manage capital projects, and drive bottom-line growth. The successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive mindset, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to senior leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs analysis of complex data, leveraging strong experience to generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Manages the Silversea Brand’s capital forecast, conducting monthly variance analysis and presenting findings to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Supports the development of business cases for long-term strategic projects, ensuring alignment with the overall commercial strategy.
  • Collaborates with hotel operations, onboard revenue, revenue management, deployment, marketing, and destination management teams to develop assumptions for investment initiatives and revenue-generating opportunities.
  • Develops and owns the quarterly reporting package for the Brand’s five-year capital plan, working closely with operational and department leaders to ensure accuracy and clarity.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for the financial review and analysis of The Cormorant hotel’s results, challenging assumptions and collaborating closely with the hotel’s finance team to ensure accuracy and alignment with overall brand strategies.
  • Collaborates with Strategy and FP&A teams to develop and manage the 5-year financial outlook, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  • Oversees the Brand capital labor forecast, including review of monthly actuals versus forecast variance analysis across all business units.
  • Facilitates the quarterly capital project certification process and enforces project management controls.
  • Executes key SOX controls related to capital projects, maintaining operational integrity and compliance.
  • Acts as the primary strategic point of contact for corporate Capital Planning and Fixed Asset Accounting teams during business case development for new capital initiatives.
  • Reviews the depreciation and amortization forecasting process at the Brand-level, partnering with Corporate Planning to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Supports the Optimization and Transformation department in various cost-saving initiatives.
  • Develops compelling presentation decks and visualizations in PowerPoint, Power BI, or related tools to communicate insights, recommendations, and strategic impacts effectively.
  • Supports enhancements to financial modeling processes to improve planning efficiency, support new initiatives, and adapt to changing business environments.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:

  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles, preferably within hospitality, travel, or leisure industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline; advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) required. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI a plus.
  • Strong understanding of financial modeling, capital planning, and variance analysis.
  • Experience with SOX controls and project management processes a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex data clearly to senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates a high level of accountability, taking ownership of tasks and delivering accurate, timely results.
  • Resourceful and proactive in seeking solutions, continuously looking for opportunities to improve processes and outcomes.
