Job Description

Texas Residents Only No Relocations

TxDOT has issued a request for a Senior FrontEnd Developer with Esri ArcGIS experience to publish and maintain their ArcGIS Server map. They are seeking candidates with 8 years of frontend and Esri development experience. Ideally candidates should experience with most or all the preferred requirements as well.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Review and modify code for frontend modules and tools
Design and build new features functionality and modules
Evaluate user requests for new features/functionality and provide any necessary technical assistance

Minimum Candidate Characteristics:

8 years of JavaScript TypeScript HTML5 CSS
- Vue/Vuetify
- Esri ArcGIS
- IDEs
- Azure DevOps GIT

Exceptional Candidate Characteristics:

Public transportation public sector or other industry experience
Experience with all preferred requirements

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a Scrum Team

• Complete user stories bugs and technical debt

• Review and modify code for frontend modules and tools

• Design and build new features functionality and modules

• Evaluate user requests for new features/functionality and provide any necessary technical assistance

• Monitor application performance and recommend/implement efficiency improvements

• Help resolve security risks and vulnerabilities

• Publish tune and troubleshoot ArcGIS Server map services

Version control systems (Azure DevOps GIT)
