Job Description

Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is looking for a Bilingual Spanish Sr. Health Educator (SHE) for this position that is remote - candidates must be local to Southern California. The Senior Health Educator (SHE) will assist with administrative efforts and coordinate with a Public Health team to help prepare and facilitate related training. The SHE will develop talking points, presentations, and prepare materials; conduct trainings; and prepare reports.
The positions will start immediately upon acceptance and employment clearance and are initially funded through 6/30/25 with potential renewal.
Pay Rate: $41.01/hr

Requirements:

• A master's degree with specialization in public health education or community health education in a program of study accredited by the American Public Health Association or equivalent, as required under California Law -AND- two years of public health education experience; and
• A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.

Skills:

• Develop and present health education materials and information to groups and the community.
• Ability to assist internal and external partners in understanding and complying with LACDPH Health Officer Orders.
• Ability to use data systems and trackers to provide health program oversight.
• Maintain accurate records/data and provides comprehensive reports to Leadership.
• Attend in-person health education/promotion community events as needed.
• Ability to maintain a professional, positive attitude and work ethic
• Ability to interact professionally with culturally diverse individuals
• Excellent critical thinking and judgment skills
• Bilingual in Spanish
