JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Quality support to Space programs.
- Create quality planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to program teams and supply base including First Article Inspection (FAI) planning.
- Ensure Quality Engineering engagement in program development, design, test requirements and verification, including the transition of design into production.
- Onsite support for hardware review and non-conforming material disposition.
- Support for onsite customer inspections and End Item data package completion and reviews.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- US Citizenship required
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years related experience
- Quality Engineering or Operations experience with working knowledge of engineering development, material acquisition, production, test, & product acceptance. Experience working with Space hardware.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Infrared industry, semiconductor processing or DoD industry experience preferably working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or with Mission Planning for National Security Space Vehicles.
