Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Staff Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role plays a key part in our month-end close, financial reporting, and audit processes. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in accounting, a solution-oriented mindset, and a desire to advance into a leadership role within the next 1–2 years.

Experience Requirements: Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. This role is in office only and does not have any remote opportunities at this time.

What you'll do:

• Maintain and update accounting records and files including but not limited to: monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, etc.
• Prepare monthly financial and operational reports for key stakeholders.
• Primary point of contact for sales tax registrations, reporting and filings.
• Support both the AR and AP functions by assisting in resolving discrepancies and providing back up as necessary.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather information and resolve issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in financial software such as NetSuite and Microsoft Excel.
• High attention to detail.
• Inquisitive mindset that continually questions and digs for answers.

Physical Demands:

• Work is predominately performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and tools including a computer, keyboard, and mouse.
• The ability to sit for extended periods of time and perform repetitive motions, including movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers, as well as stand, reach, squat and lift small parcels, packages, and other items, as necessary.
• Work requires the ability to read and analyze data using various documents and spreadsheets.
• The employee may be required to lift up to 25 lbs.
