We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Tax Accountant / CPA to join a dynamic, close-knit team in Arcadia. Responsibilities:
Prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profit organizations, handling complex tax situations.
Review and ensure the accuracy of tax returns prepared by other team members.
Assist with tax planning, projections, and the preparation of amended returns.
Create and post year-end adjusting journal entries in clients' financial records.
Maintain communication with clients and government tax agencies through written correspondence and phone calls.
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of current tax laws and regulations.
3-5 years of tax preparation experience, ideally in a CPA or public accounting firm.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Active CPA license or progress toward obtaining one.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Lacerte.
Skills:
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects to meet deadlines.
Self-motivated and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
