Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated server to join our morning team (8:30AM-4PM). The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in upscale dining environments and a deep passion for hospitality. As a server at Cafe Stella, you will be responsible for providing top-tier service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
- Provide detailed information on menu items, including specials and wine pairings
- Take orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring that the presentation meets our high standards
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with grace and professionalism
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate service
- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas before and after service
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a server in an upscale restaurant
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for hospitality
- Valid food handler’s certification (or ability to obtain one)
