Masuda, recognized as the "father of kawaii," brings his theatrical & contemporary art background into the realm of culinary delight, transforming the space into a vibrant and whimsical haven.

Looking for a hospitality driven individual who is customer and sales driven. Must be able to multitask and handle customers in a simultaneous and seamless way, offering the highest quality of service with attention to detail. Ideal candidate will be engaging and able to anticipate customer needs. 

Prior experience working in a Japanese restaurant is preffered but not required. Must be willing to learn.

We are seeking a skilled & enthusiastic Server to join our SUSHIDELIC Team in SOHO. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. If you have a passion for hospitality and enjoy working in a we would love to hear from you. MUST have spunk & personality, be professional and knowledgeable with a minimum of 2 years, NYC experience.
· Take food & drink orders accurately and promptly.

· Deliver orders to tables in a timely manner.

· Inform guests of specials and menu changes

· Learn our 6 course Omakase Menu and be able to explain each dish as they are
presented

· Make guests celebrating their Birthdays feel special and leave with a memorable
experience

· Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on tables regularly, staying on top of water
service, drink service and food service.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas and workstations.

· Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.

· Perform side work at the start and end of each shift as assigned by manager on
duty.

· Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with
the food and service. Respond promptly and courteously to any requests.

· Prepare final bill, present check to guest, accept payment, process credit card
charges, or make change (if applicable)

· Be ready and willing to assist fellow servers as situations arise.

· Thank guests for their visit and invite them to return.

· Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the
restaurant as directed by manager.

· Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time.

· Be able to lift & carry trays.

· Be available to work holidays and weekends.

· Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and
team members.

· ***Excellent upselling skills to increase sales and revenue

· Exceptional time management skills to handle multiple tables simultaneously.

· Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with guests &
team members.

· Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.

· Proficient in operating cash registers or POS systems for payment processing

· Basic math skills for calculating bills and making change accurately.
