Job Description

As a Server, you will:

• Present menu, answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Write orders on the check or memorize it.
• Relays instructions to kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Serve patrons by chafing dishes at the table.
• Observe diners to respond to any additional requests and to determine when a meal has been completed.
• Complete all assigned side work and special projects.
• Become familiar with all menu and bar recipes.
• Total bills and accept payments or refer guests to the Cashier.

Qualifications

• Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.
• Follow instructions without close supervision.
• Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Must be at least 18 and have a valid FL State Driver’s License.
• Must have 1 year of serving experience. 
• Westgate Resorts is a smoke and tobacco-free workplace. Except where prohibited by law, applicants who smoke or use tobacco products will not be considered for positions at Westgate.
• Required to pass a background check, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States.
