Overview:

The Post Oak Hotel is seeking an On-Call Massage Therapist to join the only double Forbes Five-Star Hotel in Texas. We hire passionate and professional colleagues who genuinely delight our guests through curated and authentic experiences.
The On-Call Massage Therapist will be responsible for performing all treatments and services as trained and required by the standards of the Spa and Hotel.

 

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and welcome them in a friendly manner
• Communicate relevant information with superior communication skills and professionalism
• Explain massage and body treatments, including techniques, benefits, and product used
• Handle opening and closing procedures
• Daily set up, stocking, cleaning of treatment rooms, and dispensary
• Maintain a safe, sanitary and professional work area
• Promote all treatments and products offered in the Spa & Salon
• Handle guest comments and concerns in a timely and appropriate manner

 

Qualifications:

• Aspire to our values of being passionate, strive for excellence, remain relevant, collaborate and act with honor and integrity
• 2 years of professional massage therapy experience
• Valid State Massage therapist license
• CPR certified or willing to obtain certification
• Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language
• Previous hotel experience, luxury or Forbes experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required
• Physical demands - Standing, walking, squatting, kneeling and half kneeling for cleaning. Lifting and carrying towels, carrying gallon container of product, and overhead reaching.
