About the Role: 

KDC is seeking a part-time, in-person Spanish Interpreter who will assist Early Intervention Specialists by providing written and verbal interpretation services. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and  English.  KDC’s concept of being a cultural liaison exemplifies this principle by helping bridge the gap between service providers and families.

Salary: $35.00/hour

Schedule: 5-10 hours per week based on family needs

We are looking for people who have:  

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English, required.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle, required.

In this role, you’ll get to:  

• Provide translating/interpreting services for Early Intervention Specialists and families during home visits, center-based visits, group meetings and remote when necessary

• Translate written materials such as parent letters, newsletters, narrative reports, IFSPs, and notes
• Assist Early Intervention Specialists during home visits
• Demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively in a team approach to service provision 
• Maintain compliance with all Kennedy Donovan Center policies and procedures/DPH regulations and requirements
