Proofreader

Description:

Proofread, edit, and quality check Microsoft Word document transcripts for accuracy. Accurately transcribe Spanish language audio and video recordings. Ensure transcripts meet quality standards and adhere to formatting guidelines. Effectively manage deadlines and prioritize tasks. Maintain open communication with team members regarding project details. Choose your own schedule from a block of available hours, working around your other responsibilities. Provide a minimum of 20 hours of availability (must include one weekend shift), between Wednesday and Sunday with availability between 8:00am and 8:00pm EST (4-hour shifts).

Requirements:

Spanish speaking proficiency. Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently without limitations or assistance. Proven experience in proofreading and editing Spanish language content. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel. Strong attention to detail. Mastery of English and Spanish languages, including both punctuation and grammar rules. Self-motivated, proactive, 'can-do' attitude. Ability to work independently. Must have a working computer with high-speed Internet access to work from home. Associate degree preferred; work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Bilingual English-Spanish.
